This version of Lead Weight comes as a 1xCD. - FT. RAVEN/VENOM/BITCHES SIN/FIST/AXIS A.O.UK collection of tracks from the legendary British Metal label Neat Records. Wallsend, Tyne & Wear's Neat label was the Motown of NWOBHM and from their tiny Impulse studio in Wallsend high street, magic flooded into the market place! Alongside the EMI Metal for Muthas release, this and the accompanying 60 Minutes Plus Metal release are the finest possible snap shots of a time and place at the birth of a movement that gave the world some of today's biggest rock bands. All of the label's big hitters are represented - Raven, Venom, Blitzkrieg, White Spirit featuring future Iron Maiden guitarist Janik Gers - as well as a smattering of youthful hopefuls, such as Axis and the intriguingly named Satan's Empire. Never before available on CD outside of Japan - and even there it has been unavailable for nearly twenty years! - this is a must have for rock fans everywhere.This edition is issued in a standard jewel case with a transparent tray, a 6-page fold out booklet and an inlay.
