Innerstanding (UK) - CD. Comes with an 8-page booklet with lyrics. 'Innerstanding' is a dark, daring and very interesting record and within itself in no way repetitive. Opening with an ambient track, which I would call nothing more than an intro (no, I'm not a big fan of ambient), this record is a mixture of different metal styles. First and foremost we have rather monotonous, mid-tempo black metal here (although there is also blasting) which is kind of hard to compare with anything. Given the fact that there is a lot of whispering, spoken vocals as well as black metal screaming going on here (also all at the same time), Tome of the Un-replenished has already attracted my attention by showing self-esteem!
