"Morning/Evening" is a CD by Four Tet that showcases his characteristic blend of electronic experimentation, hypnotic repetition and delicate melodic detail. Spread über two long-form pieces, the release unfolds slowly, building immersive atmospheres that move between meditative calm and subtly driving rhythms. Gentle synth textures, fragmented vocal samples and finely layered percussion create a sense of timelessness, making this CD ideal both for focused listening on headphones and as a deep, evolving backdrop for the evening hours. Fans of sophisticated, boundary-pushing electronic music will find "Morning/Evening" a highly rewarding and enduring listening experience.
Four Tet is the project of British musician and producer Kieran Hebden, known for his groundbreaking role in contemporary electronic music. Starting from a background in post-rock and experimental sounds, he has developed a singular style that fuses electronica, club music, ambient and influences from jazz and world music. Over the years he has released numerous acclaimed albums and singles, become a regular presence at major festivals and clubs worldwide, and remixed a wide range of artists. His work is frequently cited as influential for a new generation of producers and DJs.
The CD is released by Text, an independent label associated with Four Tet, and distributed by Indigo. Text is known for carefully curated, high-quality releases that focus on artistic freedom and sonic exploration rather than mainstream trends. With a small but influential catalogue, the label has established a reputation for distinctive sound aesthetics, excellent production standards and a strong affinity for the experimental edges of electronic and club music.
