« Communion » est le premier album studio du projet synth-pop britannique Years & Years, présenté ici au format LP vinyle. Mêlant pop électronique, influences R&B et touches house, l'album se distingue par ses lignes de synthé chaleureuses, ses mélodies immédiates et la voix expressive d'Olly Alexander, ce qui en fait une référence du pop moderne. Sur vinyle, la production détaillée et les basses profondes de titres comme « King » ou « Shine » gagnent en relief, avec une dynamique et une chaleur analogique qui valorisent pleinement le travail sonore.
