The motor shield supports your Arduino board when controlling motors, relays and magnets with the L298 driver chip with dual H-bridge. The shield has two channels: A and B. Each channel uses four Arduino board pins to perform functions such as choosing the direction of rotation or changing the speed of a motor. The shielding is also TinkerKit-compatible.
