Description:The new Aten CN8000A delivers superior video quality with HD resolutions up to 1920 x 1200, LUC (Laptop USB Console) for easier KVM access, easy-to-use local console OSD, and virtual media functionality with no additional cable. The CN8000A single port KVM over IP provides access control ?over-IP? for traditional KVM switches that do not have an internal over-IP function. It allows system operators to monitor and access computers from remote locations through normal web browsers or Windows and Java-based application programs. The CN8000A connects to the intranet via either LAN or WAN via an industry-standard Cat 5e/6 cable and connects to a local KVM switch or server with its own KVM cable.
