"HUMAN.:II:NATURE." is an ambitious double LP by symphonic metal pioneers Nightwish, released by renowned metal label Nuclear Blast. Across its expansive tracklist, the album juxtaposes powerful, song-oriented compositions with an atmospheric, mainly instrumental second part, exploring the relationship between humankind and the natural world. Massive orchestral arrangements, choirs and progressive structures blend with heavy guitars and the distinctive voice of Floor Jansen, creating a cinematic soundscape that moves between intimate ballads, bombastic anthems and finely crafted epics. As an LP edition, "HUMAN.:II:NATURE." offers a warm, dynamic sound and a visually appealing presentation for collectors and audiophiles alike, turning each listening session into a full-scale experience that invites repeated exploration of its lyrical and musical details.

Nightwish, formed in Finland in the mid-1990s, are widely regarded as one of the defining bands of symphonic metal and have shaped the genre with their mix of metal, classical music and film-score aesthetics. Their breakthrough came in the early 2000s with internationally acclaimed albums and chart-topping singles that brought them headline status at major festivals and sold-out tours around the world. With multi-platinum releases, numerous awards and a loyal global fanbase, Nightwish have evolved from a cult act into a modern metal institution, consistently pushing their sound forward while retaining their unmistakable identity. "HUMAN.:II:NATURE." continues this legacy with ambitious songwriting and a conceptual depth that underlines the band's status as innovators in heavy music.

The LP is released by Nuclear Blast, one of the most influential and respected labels in heavy music. Founded in Germany, Nuclear Blast has played a key role in bringing metal of all styles--from classic and power metal through melodic death and symphonic metal--onto the international stage. With a roster that has included many genre-defining bands and a reputation for high production standards, elaborate packaging and close collaboration with artists, the label stands for quality releases that are made for long-term collecting. This "HUMAN.:II:NATURE." LP benefits from that expertise, combining strong sound, careful manufacturing and a presentation tailored to fans of sophisticated, symphonic metal.

As a complete package, this LP edition of "HUMAN.:II:NATURE." is ideal for listeners who appreciate conceptually rich albums, orchestral arrangements and emotional dynamics within a metal framework. It offers both new listeners and long-time followers a deep dive into Nightwish's mature phase, while the vinyl format and Nuclear Blast's production quality ensure that the album's breadth--from delicate acoustic moments to overwhelming climaxes--comes across with maximum impact.

Azmi H. - 14/Sep/2022 5 of 5 Stars!
Compared to their prior albums, Human II Nature musically in some ways resembles EFMB, but seems even more mellow overall though it does have its more upbeat moments, like in the second song Noise. Aside from the more vocal parts, it seems to chug along at a steady pace with a lot of orchestration throughout.

HYUNG RAE K. - 06/Jun/2022 4 of 5 Stars!
The single "Noise" is killer though it is a bit of an outlier: Jansen, possessed of one of the largest ranges in rock, channels the band's original vocalist Tarja Turunen here ecstatically. She is accompanied by a rubbery bassline, forceful piano crescendoes, blastbeat tom toms, and bass voiced chorale.
