This version of Pathways comes as a 1xCD. - Spanish progressive metallers After Lapse are back with their brand new album "Pathways". The band's melodic progressive metal approach will surely be music to the ears of discerning prog fans around the world. After Lapse was initially formed in 2018 by drummer Roberto Cappa, keyboardist Pablo Sancha, and guitarist Arturo Rodríguez who had all previously played together in the band "Delyriüm" for many years. Folowing their live shows in support of UK prog legends Threshold, to promote the debut album the band came back in the studio to work on the new album. The vary After Lapse's musical influences, from progressive metal bands like Dream Theater, Devin Townsend, Pain Of Salvation, Haken, etc. To power metal bands like Kamelot, Angra, etc., helped to shape what is now the very personal style of the band."Pathways" is the debut album by After Lapse, released in CD format under the renowned label Frontiers. This progressive metal masterpiece showcases the Spanish band's technical prowess and melodic sensibility, blending powerful riffs with intricate arrangements and soaring vocals. The album takes listeners on a dynamic journey through complex rhythms, emotive lyrics, and captivating soundscapes that highlight After Lapse's unique identity within modern metal. Standout tracks like "Where No One Cares," "Face the Storm," and "Come Undone" demonstrate their ability to balance heaviness with melody.
After Lapse was formed in Madrid in 2018 and quickly gained recognition for their energetic live performances and innovative songwriting.
