"The Call Of The Wretched Seas" est le premier album du groupe allemand de funeral doom metal Ahab, disponible en format CD chez Napalm Records. Cet opus monumental s'inspire du roman classique "Moby Dick" d'Herman Melville et propose une expérience sonore immersive grâce à ses riffs écrasants et ses ambiances profondes accompagnées de chants gutturaux puissants. Depuis sa sortie en 2006, cet album est considéré comme un chef-d''uvre du doom moderne et a permis à Ahab de se distinguer comme l'un des groupes phares du genre par leur profondeur thématique et leur intensité musicale unique. Le label autrichien Napalm Records soutient depuis 1992 les artistes novateurs dans le rock et le métal avec des productions soignées qui repoussent sans cesse les limites musicales.

This is probably best album from Ahab and in Doom Metal genre. If you have to choose between all Ahab studio albums, I would start with this one.
