Larry and Vin are also joined by Beth Cassidy, whose vocal style recalls that of her late mother Jenny on 'From the Hip' and 'Love & Hate'. "Nature and Degree" is an album on CD by the influential post-punk/electronic band Section 25, a group originally associated with the legendary Factory Records scene. On this release, the band combine atmospheric guitars, minimalist rhythms and cool, introspective electronics into a sound that is both stark and emotionally resonant. The tracks move between dark, hypnotic grooves and more melodic, almost pop-tinged passages, creating a journey that rewards both focused listening and immersive, late-night sessions. The production emphasizes space and texture, letting every drum pattern, bass figure and synth line breathe while maintaining a tight, cohesive flow across the whole album. "Nature and Degree" will particularly appeal to listeners who appreciate the colder, more reflective side of post-punk and electronic music, yet still want memorable motifs and a strong sense of structure across the songs.

In unabhängigen Musikerkreisen und unter Liebhabern des Manchester-Undergrounds genießen Section 25 bis heute Kultstatus; ihre Arbeiten werden regelmäßig von jüngeren Bands und Produzenten als Referenz für eine besondere Mischung aus Strenge, Emotionalität und minimalistischer Eleganz genannt.
